Hello, my name is Sam Gertz. I was born and raised on the east coast and graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in PEI in 2022. I moved to Vernon shortly after graduation and began working at the Vernon Veterinary Clinic. I was lucky enough to grow up with all kinds of pets and knew from a very young age that I wanted to become a Veterinarian. I love that I have been able to turn my passion for animals into a career and look forward to meeting new clients and patients!

I have two amazing dogs, Ezra and Betty, as well as a few other critters. When not working, I enjoy reading and spending time with my partner exploring the Okanagan and getting to know the area. Ezra and Betty also seem to love Vernon and enjoy all the different walking and hiking opportunities that the Okanagan has to offer.
