Hi, I am Dr. Suvi Frayn. I am originally from Vancouver, where I began this journey. I received my Bachelor of Science degree, in Animal Physiology, at Simon Fraser University. From there, I decided to explore the world a little and moved to Australia, where I received my veterinary degree from the University of Melbourne in 2005.

What was supposed to be a short detour to Edmonton, before going back to Vancouver, turned into a 10-year stay. I worked there in both a small animal private practice, and then in emergency medicine. This is also where I met my husband.

After starting our family, it was always our hope to move to the Okanagan. Vernon Veterinary Clinic gave us that opportunity and we could not be happier here. We love the community and the personal, small town feel it offers.

In our spare time, we now run a hobby farm, raising chickens and turkeys. We love water sports and anything outdoors.
